I'm a physician and this BMI calculator comes in very handy. Body Mass Index (BMI) is a simple way to measure whether someone is at risk in regards to their height and weight. The formula is simple but a pain when you have to do it over and over again so an online calculator would be a godsend!

For those complaining about features. This IS the right BMI. Other calculators ask you for age, gender, ... THAT IS NOT STANDARD BMI!

It uses the original body mass index formula. I never trusted the modified ones that use gender and other stuff. It supports both metric and imperial units so it should be good for anyone.

My BMI is 27.78, good to know that I need to lose weight! Btw. I think you should put metric as default :P
